When I say I’m not religious…
I’m not saying any of those things. For I am just a man born on this earth into a society that is still engaged in irrational behavior. I have no need or desire to join the herd. I’m a keen minded wolf braving the world, not a sheep in need of a shepard. I have backbone and I use wisdom. I need knowledge so I seek ways to find it. Understanding gives me invaluable insight as I roam the hills of your madness. I don’t see the point of existence if it is to wait for a redeemer. I have found redemption comes from challenging oneself with intellectual honesty rather than being found in hymns while sitting idle in pews. When I say I’m not religious, I’m stating I don’t mind saying “I don’t know”. I’d rather keep searching for an answer than to hold on tightly to dangerous ideas that promote hatred towards mankind…just so I can feel special. I’m not religious because I’m not seeking comfort…I’m seeking to be tried.

I’m not religious.
